For all of you car guys that had performed clutch swaps on vehicles before the SRT, this will make a lot of sense to you. This clutch and flywheel assembly has been designed from the ground up by ACT to eliminate the flexplate and modular clutch assembly in our cars. It starts out life with a billet flywheel with ring gear that mounts up directly to the crank so you throw away the rinky dink flex plate. We've then chosen a full face street disc and sandwich'd it between the flywheel and an xtreme pressure plate.
Clutch is very under-rated at a 558 ft/lbs torque capacity. (ACT has always under-rated their clutch assemblies.)
Entire flywheel, disc, and pressure plate weighs in just under 25lbs. (Stock modular assembly is 32lbs)
This combo holds all the power and since we've chosen to put a heavier pressure plate with a street disc, it will save your input shaft. The pedal pressure is a little heavier than stock, but still perfect enough for a daily driver with weekend track abuse.

When replacing your clutch, we recommend a new forged clutch fork as the factory fork that is in your transmission bell housing is most likely worn beyond use. We sell these here.

Just what the car needs
This clutch should have been from the factory
It grabs quick no more slipping under boost
Peddle is more firm then the factory
My tires and axels hate me now but they will get over it -
Headache at first
This is by far the best clutch I have ever had. The stiffness breaks in about 500 miles and you are good to go. You will need a new Clutch Fork for your SRT-4 (not included) or you will ruin the clutch. Should be almost no chatter.
