With this turbo kit, you will experience Garrett GT dual ball bearing technology working to give you unbelievable power pushing your truck to the limits. This turbo is a direct drop in to the factory pedestal and comes with the necessary silicone couplers to adapt the factory or aftermarket air inlet tubes. This turbo has a 4" Ported Shroud inlet that eliminates surging.

The GTP38R turbocharger contains an exclusive ball bearing cartridge for unbeatable response, efficiency, and durability. Elimination of thrust bearing eliminates Failures at elevated boost levels. The 88mm GT compressor wheel provides 33% more flow than the stock 80mm wheel. A ported control, the Kit includes a 1.00 A/R turbine housing for free reduction in exhaust with reduced back pressure and up to 200℉ reduction in exhaust gas temperature. Maximum recommended boost level is 40psi.

Optional T51R Mod is where we plug and then CNC machine the inlet of the compressor housing to amplify the turbo whine and whistle. Keep in mind this modification is done after the order is placed and typically ads a week or two before the order is shipped. However, sometimes it can take longer and maybe even up to 4 weeks. If you have ordered other finishing options like ceramic or polishing, it may add additional time on top of the typical 2-3 weeks before your order ships. Because of the labor intensive work and machine time needed, there can be delays beyond what we quote.
