Product Description
The factory (and all other aftermarket) Air Intake Temperature (IAT) sensor is held into the upper intercooler hose with a grommet. These sensors tend to blow out at higher than factory boost levels. The best way to fix this problem, is to purchase one of our temp sensor kits.
The new IAT sensor is an OEM sensor that we decided to CNC thread 1/2-13. You will not need to wire in, it's all plug and play. For those wishing to upgrade to this sensor, we offer you this kit with a new bung that will need to be welded in to your Upper Hard Pipe. If you would like us to do the welding, we will do it at no charge, you will need to send the pipe to us and pay for shipping both ways.
Included in the kit is a 1/2-13 aluminum bung. The bung will need to be welded or affixed to your existing intercooler pipe. This sensor threads directly into the AGP Upper hard Pipe Version 2.
If you no longer have the factory plug in your car, purchase a new one and wire it in.

These guys are awesome. I bought the IAT for aluminum and thought I had someone to weld it in. It didn’t work out and AGP offered to do it at no charge. Came back quick and was welded professionally. Thanks!

Great little upgrade
Great turn around time from purchase to delivery and quality looks to be identical to oem. The aluminum bung is exactly as pictured.
This should have been a threaded sensor from oem and I'm glad AGP filled the void.
I haven't installed it yet which is the reason for 4 stars but im sure once I weld the bung on everything will go smoothly.
