Shift Extender kit
Recently rebuilt the transmission and I added these as part of the upgrades. Instantly can tell the engagement difference. Feels a lot better. This is a great modification. I would consider it a mid level modification, but nothing too bad. You will need anaerobic sealer and punches in order to do properly.

Shift Extender Kit
I had to have the transmission rebuilt after breaking the 3/4 shift fork from several years of 3rd gear pop out which included grinding when downshifting into 3rd. The shift fork, clutch, all seals were replaced, as well as the 3/4 synchros. It was all hot tanked and everything was inspected for damage and excessive wear. I thought I was going to have a perfectly working transmission once it was rebuilt, but sadly I was wrong. It was promply discovered that downshifting into 3rd still produced a pop out with a grind. This time it even grinded slightly when upshifting into 3rd. In utter disapointment with thoughts of selling the SRT4 at a loss, I reasearched on the forums and discovered that the 3rd gear issue was quite a common problem. There were even some experiences with the 3rd gear issues even after the rebuild. And the common solution for this common problen was the Shift Extender. After speaking with AGP, I purchased the Shift Extender Kit and promptly had it installed. It fixed it! Shifting was like factory fresh with no hint ou pop out or grinding. The gears felt more positively engaged and there was no shifter vibrations as experienced by some with othe manufacturers. I am a happy customer and have a car that will now shift as it should. Great product.
I was having the typical 3rd gear grind/poop out issue common to NSDT-4s, so I ordered this kit figuring I'd just replace both pieces if I was going in anyway. Well I'm glad I did; since two days after I ordered this my stock shift selector broke its tab clean off. This kit ( along with new Booger Bushings) made my shifts feel better than brand new, and being billet tool steel means it ain't breaking again.

This compleatly got rid of the third gear pop out that i had. It was super easy to install too, everything fit in just like stock.
